We came and we conquered.
Over 200 advocates met with Senate and House of Representatives offices all throughout the day.
The #MEAction Network and #SolveMECFSInitiative partnered to make Advocacy Day 2019 happen.
Amy Carlson and I flipped between NY and IL all day. Trying to spread the word about ME/CFS and looking for increased funding and simply just asking them to hold May 12th as National ME day, easy enough.
Thanks to all the staffers we met with and an extra special thanks to Sean Casten IL-6 who actually came out to speak with us in person.
And the Cherry Blossoms were in full bloom.
It was a great success in my eyes.
