So much of the industry has been affected by the pandemic. Here I am self taping and I really miss casting directors. Years ago casting directors would get top billing for putting together the elements of a production. These days where are they? Actors are all being asked to self tape and a lot of it comes out of their own pocket. Early in my career casting directors guided me, taught me and helped me do my best work. I miss casting directors. I feel for young actors having to do this on their own. I’ve been doing it for a long time and it is not my favorite experience. #castingdirectors #selftape
